Yes, Kev, racism thoroughly thoroughly sucks. The point with the question what if the races were switched would be a huge, huge ordeal in the MEDIA, which is what the author, Noel Sheppard asked in the TITLE of his article: “Obama Supporter Maims McCain Volunteer, WILL MEDIA CARE?”
When it is even a (false) ALLEGATION of a black person being victimized by a white person, the MEDIA in the US goes absolutely crazy. Please refer to the Duke University lacrosse team “rape” case. See how many million news items are dedicated to this completely false case.

Also, it is amusing that you command everyone to “talk about the issues of blah blah blah.” Talk? How about DO something about the issues?
