I know a lot of you have mentioned that “muslims are sick twisted people.” Yes, there is some truth to that statement…the truth about it is that only SOME muslims are sick twisted people and totaly take the Qur’an’s words and distort them themselves. For example, the Qur’an will say a woman should be covered when in the presence of other men. It does not say “oh if she’s not covered you can beat the sh*t out of her or even kill her.” However, some of these muslims think that “oh since the Qur’an says a woman has to be covered that means that it’s my duty, as a man, to do what I want to her to make sure she listens.” That is what I mean by some of these muslims taking the Qur’an’s words and distorting them.

Many people think that if one person is bad from a certain religion, race, or whatever, that means that ALL who are of same religion, race, or whatever are bad just like them. That is a very horrible way to think. I’m muslim and my family moved here from Pakistan when I was about 4 or 5. So basically I grew up here. My father always told me that I HAD to have an arranged marriage…meaning that my mother and him would be the ones who would pick the man I was suppose to marry. Many muslim fathers actually force thier daughters to marry who they choose with out even getting to know the person. My father just told me that he was going to pick the potential men but I would be the one to then choose after I got to know them. But to be honest, as I grew older, I always knew I wouldn’t be one to get an arraged marriage. I always dated non-muslims, never told my father about them though. Then about 4 years ago, I met this man and fell in love with him. I knew that I was going to marry him. I knew that when I told my dad he was going to disown me. However, when I told him, that’s not what happened. Yes, he was upset because he was not muslim, but he told me “as long as you are happy, then I am happy. That is all I want, for you to be safe and happy.” My father met the man and he even likes him. So you see not everyone, who is muslim, is bad. It’s just SOME. So, don’t go punishing all muslims for what others do.

Maybe it’s time these rationalist need to rethink their religion. Killing is wrong no matter what faith, or God you believe in.
