The Qur'an promotes gender equality and condones honor killings. It is the religion of peace. Honor Killings are a cultural tradition that date back to pre-Islam. I do not agree with honor killings. I'm just pointing out that it is not the religion, it is the culture. This does not matter but I am a Christan supporting belief in Islamic/Muslim religions. So, before bad-mouth the religion do some research, or read the book Burned Alive: A Victim of the Law of Men by Souad, it is her life story. Souad is a survivor of an attempted honor killing.
